U3A TWEED COAST Inc. has pleasure in inviting members to attend the

2021 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Monday, 15th March 2021 at 2.30pm
Kingscliff Seventh Day Adventist Church
85 Phillip Street, Chinderah

The Nomination Form is supplied for your consideration for election to the U3A Tweed Coast Inc. Management Committee. Please note: the form must be in the hands of our Secretary, Karen Fallins, by Monday 1st March 2021.

If you can’t make the meeting and would like to appoint a proxy then please use this Appointment of Proxy form.

Our annual membership fee is still at a modest $40. For this you may join as many different groups as you wish, subject to  numbers. However you may only attend one YOGA and or one PILATES group unless there is no waiting list. This is due to overwhelming interest in these groups and the limit on numbers attending. Please respect the Group Leader's decision. when enquiring about this.
At U3A Tweed Coast we love our Group Leaders and appreciate all their hard work throughout the year. After all without them we have no U3A. Thirty eight Group Leaders take over 50 Groups between them, that is awesome.
The photo shows five leaders receiving  Certificates of Appreciation for their
contributions over a combined 39 years. Awesome!!

Mah – Jong, Canasta, Cryptic Crosswords etc,  so many  groups to choose from.

Always the first Friday of the month except in school holidays.

FRIDAY FORUM afternoons are open to everyone not just  members so bring a friend or a new neighbour$2 entry includes afternoon tea.

WE HATE TO BE THE BADGE POLICE BUT IT IS A CONDITION OF ATTENDING  ALL U3A COURSES THAT YOUR MEMBERSHIP BADGE IS WORN OR DISPLAYED  IN A PROMINENT PLACE.  THE REASON FOR THIS RECENTLY BECAME EVIDENT WHEN A MEMBER  HAD A MEDICAL EPISODE AND THE COURSE LEADER NEEDED EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS.

PLEASE DO NOT EMBARRASS YOUR COURSE LEADER BY IGNORING THIS

Why not join some more activities. There are so many to choose from. You could do something new every day!!!!

If you attend any Groups at Cudgen Leagues Club, you must be a member of that Club. The annual fee is a modest $6. There are no exceptions to this. Did you know that club members get discounts on the great meals at the Club.
